Share your project objectives and requirements with us. At DonE, we develop integrated solutions for hydrogen production and utilization, combining engineering, equipment manufacturing, EPC services and reliable energy supply. We support our clients in implementing efficient, safe and sustainable projects to accelerate the transition to low-carbon energy.
DonE provides integrated systems combining on-site hydrogen production with advanced power generation technologies, delivering clean, stable and high-efficiency energy for industrial and commercial applications. The platform supports three hydrogen production technologies: catalytic cracking of natural gas, methanol reforming, water electrolysis (PEM or alkaline). Subject to project conditions, the system generates high-purity hydrogen on demand to feed fuel cells or hydrogen internal combustion engines, ensuring continuous supply and high operational availability.
Besides power generation, the solution integrates trigeneration (CCHP) functions to produce electricity, heating and cooling simultaneously. It can also be used for power backup, peak demand management and long-duration energy storage.
Thanks to its high efficiency, low emissions, intelligent automation and outstanding reliability, this solution is ideal for industrial parks, data centers, commercial buildings, manufacturing plants and renewable energy integration systems.
DonE methanol hydrogen production system uses methanol and deionized water as raw materials to efficiently and safely obtain high-purity hydrogen.
The process starts with methanol storage in a dedicated tank, while a water station supplies high-purity water. Both fluids are precisely dosed and automatically mixed before entering the reformer.
Inside the reformer, the mixture of methanol and water undergoes a catalytic reforming process to produce hydrogen-rich gas. Afterwards, this gas goes through a purification system to remove impurities until high-purity hydrogen is obtained.
The purified hydrogen is temporarily stored in a buffer tank to maintain stable pressure and flow rate. Next, a compressor raises the pressure to the level required for utilization.
Once compressed, hydrogen can be directly used to feed a fuel cell system for on-site power generation, integrated into energy storage systems, injected into the power grid, or supplied directly for various industrial applications.
The entire system architecture is designed to achieve efficient conversion of methanol into hydrogen-based energy, reducing operating costs and ensuring safe, reliable and continuous operation.
The system utilizes waste heat generated during the process to maximize energy performance. Thanks to this energy recovery, the overall efficiency can reach up to 85%, significantly cutting fuel consumption and operating costs.
The solution supports three hydrogen production methods: Catalytic cracking of natural gas, Methanol reforming, Water electrolysis (PEM or alkaline). This flexibility enables selection of the most suitable technology according to resource availability, project conditions and regulatory requirements.
The system integrates advanced automation functions including automatic control, real-time remote monitoring, intelligent fault diagnosis and optimized operation and maintenance management, improving equipment availability and reducing service costs.
Hydrogen power generation technology reduces emissions of NOx, SOx and particulate matter practically to zero, complying with international environmental standards and supporting cleaner energy production.
Designed for long-term continuous and stable operation, the system responds quickly to load variations. It is suitable for base load power supply, emergency backup and peak demand management.
Its modular architecture facilitates transportation, installation and capacity expansion. Besides, it can be easily integrated with solar systems, wind power systems and energy storage solutions to build more flexible and sustainable energy infrastructure.
